Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (4/15/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can write about and talk about my physical appearance. 2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.

Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment. 2) Paragraph is due by the end of today. 3) Lesson Ten vocabulary quiz: Monday, 4/20/15.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Daily greeting routine. Find out your classroom for your Social Studies tomorrow. Make use of checklist for your body parts description paragraph. Stomach virus is around at MS building. Wash your hands and use wipes to clean your desk, please. (8P) Jonathan talks to Ms. Chang, please. Turn in your physical description checklist, please. 2) Quick review. 3) Writing practice.
  2. 1) Teach new characters (笑, 哈, 笑哈哈). 2) (4P) Conversation questions practice / Q&A. .

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P / 5P (4/15/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can name colors in Chinese.   2) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese zodiac animals. 4) I can brainstorm ideas for my art project.

Homework: 1) Practice reading sentences #1-#8. 2) Finalize your art project theme / medium.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Stomach virus is around at MS building. Wash your hands and use wipes to clean your desk, please. Quick review (8 colors). 2) Teach new terms (hui se, cheng se, fen hong se, xi huan). 3) Write sentence #8. 4) Read sentences #1-#8.
  2. 1) Video clip: Chinese zodiac animals. 2) Showcase current art project PPT samples / pictures of previous art project samples.
