Procedures for 4/27/15

Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (4/27/15)

Objectives: 1) I can describe my cooking and holding chopsticks skills. 2) (4P) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese kites. 3) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.

Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment. 2) Know 10 learned characters by Wednesday, 4/29/15. 3) Practice conversation questions. 4) Bring in your art supplies on Wednesday and Thursday.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Daily greeting. Return papers. Any retake application form? 2) Quick review. 3) Go over common writing mistakes.
  2. 1) (1P/4P) Scrambled sentences worksheet. 2) Teach new characters (菜, 中国菜, 小菜, 菜刀, 做, 筷, 筷子, 看, 好看, 全). 3) Conversation question Q/A. 4) (4P) Video clip: kite.

 


Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P / 5P (4/27/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can complete a Student Inventory worksheet. 2) I can understand Ms. Chang’s classroom rules.
Homework: Signature slip due: Thursday, 4/30/15.
Procedures:

  1. 1) Sit on your assigned seat. 2) Go over team assignment. 3) Pass out Student Inventory worksheet.
  2. 1) Seat work: Go over and fill out the Student Inventory worksheet. 2) Pass out / go over Ms. Chang’s Classroom Rules.
