Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (4/28/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can know the project requirements of designing / making a kite. 2) I can sight read characters accurately and fluently. 3) I can know the requirements of an upcoming skit. 4) I can evaluate my growing in comprehending authentic audio file and text passages.

Homework: 1) Practice conversation questions. 2) Bring in your design / pattern & art supplies for your kite. Draft / Color your kite tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Daily greeting routine. 2) Quick review. 3) Speed character recognition. 4) Go over the rubric for Kite-making project. 5) Go over the rubric for skit #4.
  2. 1) IPA interpretive listening and reading. 2) Skit time.

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P / 5P (4/28/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can understand Ms. Chang’s grading policy. 2) I can understand the requirements for answering the questions in the China reading packet. 3) I can gain cultural and geographical knowledge about China through viewing video clips.

Homework: China reading packet is due at the beginning of the class period on Thursday, 4/30/15.

Procedure:

1.   1) Any signature slip? Makeup work (3P: Caitlyn, Jeffrey). Introduce Ms. Chang’s daily blog / Classroom supplies, handouts, and homework trays. 2) Complete going over Ms. Chang’s classroom rules and grading policy.

2.   1) Introduce and go over China reading packet. 2) Video clip: general introduction to China (3P) Beijing.
