Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (5/18/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of Lesson Eleven vocabulary. 2) I can refresh my understanding of year-end PPT requirements. 3) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.

Homework: 1) Lesson Eleven oral exam: tomorrow. 2) Scrambled sentences worksheet Problems #43-45, #47-#55. 3) Finals are Wednesday, 6/3/15 (listening & writing) and Thursday, 6/4/15 (reading & grammar / scrambled sentences).

Procedure:

  1. 1) Daily greeting routine. (HR) Any Kick-It T-Shirt order form? Any signed HS schedule? (1P/4P/8P) Chinese Club meeting (singing): Thursday, 5/21/15. Work in media center (1P / 8P) lab 2 / (4P) lab 1 tomorrow to create slides of food / drinks / skills (12 points). (1P: Phoebe; 4P: Evan B., Ethan P.) report to Ms. Chang at 6P today. 2) Quick review. 3) Go over year-end PPT checklist / (1P / 4P) common mistakes. 4) (1P/8P) Writing practice.
  2. 1) Lesson Eleven vocabulary quiz. 2) Conversation questions Q/A practice or Seat work: scrambled sentence worksheet.

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P / 5P (5/18/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of 20 Chinese picture and number characters. 2) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 3) I can explore origami.

Homework: Practice reading sentences #1-#4.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Return papers. Quick review (20 characters). Makeup work (3P: Hailey; 5P: Jordan, Jared, Nick, Elise, Micaiah—report to Ms. Chang at #/I today. 2) Quiz #2.
  2. 1) Teach family terms (baba, mama, gege, jiejie, didi, meimei) & (he, liang). Write sentence #4. Read sentences #1-#4. 2) Complete origami product #2. Check for participation grade
