Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (5/19/15)


Objectives: 1) I can create a PPT to introduce myself. 2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese food through viewing enrichment videos. 4) I can play interactive game to view my test.

Homework: 1) Slides of 2 preferred food and 2 drinks and skills of holding chopsticks and cooking are due at the end of today (12 point, 20%). Google Docs share with Ms. Chang, please. 2) Year-end PPT printout is due on Friday, 5/22/15. 3) Lesson Eleven character worksheet is due tomorrow. 4) Lesson Eleven chapter test: tomorrow.

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P / 5P (5/19/15)


Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese.   2) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese silk and embroidery. 3) (5P) I can explore origami. 4) (3P) I can understand the requirements for art project.

Homework: 1) Review 10 Chinese number characters and Chinese counting principle. 2) Quiz #3: tomorrow.


  1. 1) Return quiz #2 papers. 2) Introduce English and Chinese date format. 3) Teach terms (sheng ri, nian, yue, ri, de). 4) Write sentence #5. Read sentences #1-#5. Collect draft #1.
  2. 1) Video clips: Chinese Silk / Chinese Embroidery. 2) (5P) Complete Origami #2. 3) (3P) Go over art project requirements.
