Procedures for 5/26/15

Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (5/26/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can answer simple conversation questions. 2) I can study for my final. Homework: 1) Prepare for your oral exam if you have not done so today. 2) Find out answers to the questions in the study guide.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Daily greeting routine. Collect all used workbooks when doing locker clean-out. (8P: Jonathan) talks to MS. Chang, please. Makeup work (4P: Joey; 8P: Adelyn). 2) Concert assembly tomorrow. Sign up your PPT presentation before school or during E/I. 3) Reintroduce the website for conversation of characters to pinyin: www.cozychinese.com/convert.
  2. While Ms. Chang conducts oral exam ó 1) study your final by finding out answers to the questions in the study guide (writing + grammar corrections + scrambled sentences). 2) Practice oral exam.


 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P / 5P (5/26/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself.   2) I can name colors in Chinese. 3) I can brainstorm ideas for my art project through viewing art project samples.

Homework: 1) Quiz #4 (colors): tomorrow. 2) Practice reading sentences #1-#8.

Procedure:

  1. 1) (3P: Karen) talks to Ms. Chang, please. Quick review (8 colors). 2) Teach (fen hong se, hui se, cheng se). 3) Teach (xi huan, zui). Write sentence #8. Read sentences #1-#8.
  2. 1) Video clip (3P) Terra Cotta Warriors. 2) Culture reading: The Meaning of Colors. 3) Showcase pictures of art project / singing art projects.
