Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (5/29/15)

Objectives: 1) (1P) I can sharpen my listening skill through viewing an authentic movie. 2) I can polish my reading fluency through chanting activity. 3) (4P / 8P) I can name common Chinese dishes. 4) I can have fun flying my kite.
Homework: 1) Study your final. 2) Prepare your PPT presentation. It start from Monday, 6/1/15. 3) Complete your reflection and return by Tuesday, 6/2/15.
Procedure:
1. 1) Daily greeting routine. (4P: Eric W., Megan, Cameron) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Tie / Glue your kite with string handle.
2. 1) (4P / 8P) Go over common Chinese dish menu. 2) Chanting time. 3) Song time: 我和你. 4) (1P) Movie time. 5) Fly kites.

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P / 5P (5/29/15)

Objectives: 1) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese martial arts and Chinese jian zi. 2) I can play Pin the Tail on the Donkey in Chinese. 3) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 4) I can brainstorm ideas for my art project.
Homework: Practice oral presentation sentences.
Procedure:
1. 1) (3P: Hailey; 5P: Jordon, Micaiah) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Read sentences #1-#10. 2) Video clips: Chinese martial arts / Chinese jian zi. 2) (3P) 6 Popular Sports in China + Sports Schools in China.
2. 1) Showcase more art project pictures. 2) Practice Chinese direction terms for game. 4) (3P) Game time: Pin the Tail on the Donkey.
