Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P / 5P (5/8/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say and comprehend simple greeting terms / classroom expressions.   2) I can say and write simple Chinese number characters. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese landmark: Great Wall of China. 4) I can explore Chinese folk art of paper cut.

Homework: 1) Quiz #1: Monday, 5/11/15. 2) Chinese character writing assignment. 3) Review 26 learned terms / 15 characters.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (26 terms + 12 characters) with dry erase board and SmartBoard. 2) Teach characters (five, six, seven). 3) (5P) Showcase seals.
  2. 1) Video clip: Great Wall of China. 2) Complete two paper cut patterns.
