Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (6/9/15)

Objectives: 1) (4P) I can provide my feedback to Ms. Chang regarding my learning experiences in Chinese I class. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about China through viewing an authentic movie. 3) (4P / 8P) I can have fun playing games and enjoy tasting Chinese breakfast items.
Homework: 1) Download your eWork, please. 2) Please check your e-mail account for a list of websites and YouTube videos for summer review.
1. 1) Daily greeting routine. (4P) Return papers. 2) Take home your kite. Return Ms. Chang green string handle, if not needed, please. 3) Review pictures from Chinese martial arts class. (4P) Return your textbook (1P: Alena, Chris; 4P: Ethan P., Eric W.; 8P: Charlie, Andrew C., Ada, Jareth, Matt), please. (4P: Jack, Emily, Ben, Ethan M., Ethan P., Annabelle, Caroline, Kylie V., Eric W., Jessy), complete class survey, please.
2. 1) (4P/8P) Game time / movie time / Enjoy Chinese breakfast items until 2:30 pm for a walk to HS.


Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P / 5P (6/9/15)

Objectives: 1) I can gain culture knowledge about Chinese students’ extracurricular activities, popular pastimes for teens in China and Chinese fengsui. 2) I can have fun playing games. 3) I can.
Homework: N/A
1. 1) Makeup quiz (3P: Niko; 5P: Juliana—return paper and take pictures). 2) View pictures of art project from current sections (Ann, Hailey) and (3P) pictures from Chinese class’s field trip.
2. 1) Video clips: fengsui + (5P) Chinese garden. 2) Culture reading: fengshui / Popular Pastimes for Teens in China / Extra-curricular School Programs. 3) Game time: Follow the Leader. 4) Final review of Chinese terms learned in class.
