Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (8/21/15)


Objectives: 1) I can understand Ms. Chang’s classroom routine and grading policy. 2) I can say simple Chinese greeting terms. 3) I can write my Chinese name??

Homework: 1) Student Survey due by the end of tonight. 2) Review 6 greeting terms. 3) Chinese name writing assignment is due on Wednesday (5/26/15). Practice each character for 20 times. A total of 60 characters to write. Divide your work into several sessions.


  1. 1) Get a copy of square paper. 2) Update your school supplies record. Help yourself with textbook and ziplock bag. Write general information, homework / worksheets, tests / quizzes, handouts, and rubric / checklists on the tabs. 3) (3P: Susan, Derrick; 8P: George, Julia) talk to Ms. Chang for tutoring, please.
  2. 1) Go over Ms. Chang’s syllaus. 2) Review 3 / Learn 3 new Chinese greeting terms.
  3. Take one netbook and log in patiently. Work on learning / writing your Chinese name (Ms. Explains the structure of your Chinese, way to activate animation, etc.), Question?


Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 6P / 7P (8/21/15)


Objectives: 1) I can understand Ms. Chang’s grading policy.   2) I can complete a student survey. 3) I can say simple Chinese greeting terms.

Homework: Review 1 learned greeting term.


  1. 1) Any signature slip? 2) Go over Ms. Chang’s grading policy.
  2. Complete Student Survey. Collect!!
  3. Introduce / go over greeting terms handout. Teach (Ni Hao).
