Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (8/20/15)

 Objectives: 1) I can understand Ms. Chang’s classroom routines and grading policy. 2) I can say simple Chinese greeting terms.  3) I can help Ms. Chang to know me by filling out a student survey.

Homework: 1) Have your password for ProgressBook tomorrow.  2) School supplies are due on Wednesday, 8/26/15. 3) Signature slip due on Tuesday, 8/25. 4) Student Survey due by the end of Friday, 8/21/15. 5) Review 3 greeting terms.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Sit on your assigned seat. Check accuracy of your team assignment. 2) Captains check school supplies (binder, dividers w/tabs, book cover, markers and socks). A Marker and a sock will be put in a ziplock bag and stored under seat. Label it with your name, please. Starting from tomorrow, you will get your textbook if you have your book cover for the textbook. Write general information, homework / worksheets, tests / quizzes, handouts, and rubrics / checklists on the tabs. 3) Students who did not take Exploratory Chinese before?
  2. 1) Go over Ms. Chang’s classroom setting / daily routine + blog / syllabus. 2) Review / Learn Chinese greeting terms.
  3. Work on Student Survey <=> Chang checks / confirms the pronunciation of your name.

 

 

 Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 6P / 7P (8/20/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can understand Ms. Chang’s classroom rules and routine.   2) I can complete a student survey.

Homework: 1) Signature slip due on Tuesday, 8/25/15. 2) Open house: Thursday, 8/27/15, 7-8:30 pm.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Sit on your assigned seat. 2) Go over your team assignment. 3) Go over Ms. Chang’s classroom (handouts/homework/supplies) / opening routine + daily blog.
  2. 1) Pass out / Go over Ms. Chang’s classroom rule. 2) Complete Student Survey.
