Procedures for 9/2/15

Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (9/2/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can blend and discriminate consonants and vowels in Chinese. 2) I can assess my Chinese language proficiency. 3) I can review for my chapter test.

Homework: Study for tomorrow’s pre-test (short response + MC).

Procedure:

  1. 1) Opening routine. 2) Dictation.
  2. 1) (3P) Go over Compound Vowels (1) handout: ei / ou sections. 2) Complete Chinese I self-assessment.
  3. 1) Review session (listening & reading comprehension, map). 2) (8P) Pair activity: Sounding out loud (all greeting terms / classroom expressions).

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 6P / 7P (9/2/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can review greeting terms for my test.   2) I can write simple Chinese number characters.

Homework: Review 26 learned greeting terms / classroom expressions and 12 Chinese characters.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review w/dry erase board (26 greeting terms / classroom expressions)—listening + reading comprehension + 10 Chinese characters–matching. 2) Teach characters (three, four). 3) (7P) Show Chinese character animation.
