Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (9/3/15)

Objectives: 1) I can blend and discriminate consonants and vowels. 2) I can assess my readiness for tomorrow’s chapter test.
Homework: 1) Review ei and ou sections. 2) Study for chapter test #1: Friday, 9/4/15.
Procedure:
1. 1) Opening routine. Get a netbook, turn on, and activate a browser. Write down your name and your login name for Kahoot game. Turn it in to Ms. Chang. 2) Q/A? Where can I find the information about map?? 3) (3P: Daniel; 8P: Claire, Hailey) talk to Ms. Chang, please (pre-assessment packet).
2. 1) Teach (ei, ou) section. 2) Simulation of chapter test (short response / Kahoot game for MC).

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 6P / 7P (9/3/15)

Objectives: 1) I can write simple Chinese number characters. 2) I can review for my test tomorrow. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese calligraphy and Chinese painting.
Homework: 1) Review greeting terms / classroom expressions for test #1: tomorrow, 9/4/15. 2) Review 14 Chinese characters.
Procedure:
1. 1) Quick review (26 terms + 12 Chinese characters with dry erase board and SmartBoard. 2) Teach 2 new Chinese characters (five, six).
2. 1) Video time: Chinese calligraphy + Chinese painting. 2) (6P) Showcase Four Treasures of Study. Q/A?
