Procedures for 9/23/15

Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (9/23/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can blend and discriminate consonants, vowels and tones. 2) I can understand upcoming tasks for my lesson three chapter test. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival through a webquest activity.

Homework: 1) Complete a virtual classroom activity by the end of today. 2) Review (an, en, in) sections.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Opening routine. (3P: Siena, Derrick, James, Jacob, Dylan, Luke, Liam, Kaitlyn, Justin, Daniel; 8P: Claire, George) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Take one netbook, turn it on and log into your e-mail account. 2) Go over study guide. 3) Modeling speaking task. 2) Teach (an, en, in) sections.
  2. Log onto ProgressBook. Seat work (webquest through virtual classroom).

 

 Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 6P / 7P (9/23/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can name colors and family members in Chinese.   2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese martial arts with weapons. 3) I can understand the requirements of art project. 4) I can brainstorm ideas for my art project through sample projects.

Homework: 1) Practicing speaking oral presentation sentences. 2) Brainstorm ideas about your topic and medium.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (6 family terms + 11 colors). Return oral presentation draft. (7P: Carson, Connor) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Go over art project requirements.
  2. 1) Video clip: Chinese Martial Arts w/Weapons. 2) Showcase art project samples (drawings).
