Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (9/21/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can prepare for my quiz through pre-test simulation. 3) I can solve math equations through using listening, reading, and writing skills.

Homework: 1) Complete character writing assignment. Know these three characters (乘以, 除以) by Wednesday, 9/23/15. 2) Quiz #4 (compound vowels (2)): tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Opening routine. Return Quiz #3 papers. Quiz result analysis. (3P: Siena, Serena, Liam, Jacob, James, Luke, Justin; 8P: Conor, Oliver) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Ms. Chang already e-mailed you the study guide for lesson three chapter test and an audio file for Front Nasal Sounds handout this morning. 2) Read Compound Vowels (2) (un, uan, y, w) section. 3) (8P) Dictation (y, w) sections. 4) Simulation (MC + Dictation).
  2. 1) Listening / Reading / Writing practice (math operations). 2) Teach (乘以, 除以).

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 6P / 7P (9/21/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can name colors.   2) I can talk about my grade in Chinese.

Homework: 1) Oral presentation: Monday / Tuesday, 9/28-9/29/15. 2) Review 8 learned color terms.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (4 color terms + 6 family terms). 2) Teach 4 new terms (green, blue, purple, brown, shang, nian ji). 3) Write sentence #6. Read sentences #1-#6. 4) Pass out / go over animal handout and sports handout. Please take note of your favorite animal and sport.
