Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (9/24/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can blend and discriminate consonants, vowels and tones. 2) I can solve math equations through reading. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival and Chinese lucky and unlucky numbers.

Homework: 1) Chapter test simulation and Mid-Autumn Festival celebration: tomorrow. Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 6P / 7P (9/24/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese.   2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese zodiac animals and the legend of giant panda. 3) I can brainstorm ideas about my art project through viewing various project samples.

Homework: 1) Quiz #2 (family + colors): tomorrow. 2) Work on your art project in class on Monday / Tuesday, 9/28-9/29/15.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Pre-test simulation. 2) Read sentences #1-#10.
  2. 1) Video clips: exemplary art project videos (singing + sports). 2) Culture reading: Chinese zodiac animals + (6P) The legend of giant panda. International food / drink franchises in China. 3) Showcase art project samples (PPTs).
