Procedures for 10/5/15

Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (10/5/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can prepare for my front and back nasal sounds quiz tomorrow. 2) I can prepare for my Lessons 1 and 2 chapter test. 3) I can greet people in Chinese and in a culturally acceptable manner.

Homework: 1) Complete Chinese character writing assignment. Know all characters by Wednesday, 10/7/15. 2) Quiz #5 (MC, dictation, sounding out loud, mini-dialogue): tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Opening routine. (3P: Derrick, Jacob, Katie stay for oral tomorrow, Justin / Evan see Ms. Chang at 5P; 8P: Dylan: see Ms. Chang at 2P tomorrow; Kevin at 4P; Devin, Hailey, Michael, Claire and Greg see Ms. Chang at 5P tomorrow). There is a lockdown drill at 2P tomorrow. 2) Quick review (你, 您, 我, 好, 是, 他, 她, 再, 见, 明, 天, 早).
  2. 1) Quiz simulation (MC, dictation). 2) Writing practice. 3) Teach new characters (同, 学, 们, 老, 师, 林). 3) Pair activity: practice mini dialogue.

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 6P / 7P (10/5/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can understand Ms. Chang’s classroom rules and routine.   2) I can complete a student survey.

Homework: Signature slip due on Thursday, 10/8/15.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Sit on your assigned seat. 2) Check your team assignment. 3) Go over Ms. Chang’s classroom (handouts/homework/supplies) / opening routine + daily blog.
  2. 1) Pass out / Go over Ms. Chang’s classroom rule. 2) Complete Student Survey. Collect.
