Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (10/14/15)

Objectives: 1) I can blend and discriminate consonants, vowels and tones. 2) I can identify people and ask about their age in Chinese. 3) I can say dates in Chinese.
Homework: 1) Review (d. t) sections. 2) Complete Chinese character writing assignment. Know these four characters by next Monday, 10/19/15.
Procedure:
1. 1) Opening routine. 2) Read (m, f) section. 3) Dictation. 4) Writing practice.
2. 1) Teach (d, l) sections. 2) Teach (今, 年, 几, 岁, 今天, 明天, 明年). 3) Oral practice.

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 6P / 7P (10/14/15)

Objectives: 1) I can say / comprehend greeting terms / classroom expressions in Chinese. 2) I can say / write Chinese numbers. 3) I can explore Chinese folk art of cutting papers.
Homework: 1) Review 27 greetings terms / classroom expressions & 14 Chinese characters.
Procedure:
1. 1) Quick review (24 terms + 11 characters). 2) Teach new terms (dui bu qi, mei guan xi, tong xue men hao). 3) Teach new characters (四, 五, 六).
2. 1) Class activity: complete paper-cutting patterns.
