Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (10/27/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of bpmf / dtnl consonants. 2) I can reflect on my first quarter’s learning. 3) I can blend and discriminate consonants, vowels and tones fluently and accurately.

Homework: 1) Complete Chinese character writing assignment. 2) Complete self-assessment by the end of today. 3) Skit performance: tomorrow. No before school performance tomorrow. 4) Review (zh, ch) sections. 5) Quiz #7 (gkhjqx) sounding out loud: Thursday, 10/29/15. Quiz #7 (written part): Friday, 10/30/15.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Opening routine. Turn in your skit checklist / script. Take one netbook, turn it on, activate the browser, and set aside. Two audio files (gkhjqx / zh ch sh z r c s) and Lesson Four chapter test study guide were sent to you over the weekend. 2) Dictation (q, x). 3) Writing practice.
  2. 1) Teach (两). 2) Quiz #6. 3) Teach (zh, ch) sections. 4) Draw a number for your new seat. 5) Check your e-mail and enter password: change for your Reflection / Self-Assessment. No point is assigned.


 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 6P / 7P (10/27/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese.   2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese tea and abacus. 3) I can enjoy doing origami.

Homework: Quiz #1: tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Teach (jia, you, ge ren). 2) Write sentence #3. Read sentences #1-#3. 3) Video clips: Tea / abacus. 4) Showcase tea sets, Chinese tea and abacus.
  2. Complete origami, if possible.
