Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (10/29/15)

Objectives: 1) I can blend and discriminate consonants, vowels and tones. 2) I can prepare for my chapter test through listening and virtual classroom activities.
Homework: 1) Review (c, s) sections. 2) Quiz #7 (g k h j q x): tomorrow, 10/30/15. 3) Quiz #8 (zh, ch, sh, r, c, s, z): Friday, 11/6/15.
1. 1) Opening routine. Return quiz / skit papers. Take one netbook, turn it on, activate the browser and set aside. Makeup work (3P: Jackson / Evan, Jacob / Luke, Liam; 8P: Oliver). Extra video clips (Zachary / Daniel, Leah / Julia, Camille / Alyssa)…. 2) Dictation (sh, r, z) + Listening activity (date). 3) Quiz #7 simulation. 4) Teach (c, s) sections. 5) (8P) Read (gkhjqx) handout. 6) Write name on quiz #7 papers.
2. While Ms. Chang conducts oral reading, please do 2 Virtual classroom activities.

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 6P / 7P (10/29/15)

Objectives: 1) I can name colors in Chinese. 2) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese finger guessing game.
Homework: 1) Review learned color terms. 2) Quiz #2 (family members + colors): Wednesday, 11/4/15.
1. 1) Return quiz #1 papers. Makeup work (6P: Josh, Kane, Catie, Morgan, Evie / origami status). Take one copy of art project requirements handout. Pass out colors flash cards. 2) Teach (hong se, huang se, hei se, bai se). 3) Teach Chinese date format. 4) Write sentence #5. 5) Read sentences #1-#5. Collect.
2. Culture reading: Rock, Scissors, and paper finger guessing game. Practice time.
