Procedures for 11/19/15

Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (11/19/15)

Objectives: 1) I can sight read pinyin sentences fluently and accurately. 2) I can showcase my mastery of Lesson Five vocabulary. 3) I can ask and answer conversation questions. 4) I can create a skit independently or in pairs.
Homework: 1) Practice reading sentences #1-#22. 2) Lesson Five reading questions will be assigned and due tomorrow.
Procedure:
1. 1) Opening routine. Makeup work (8P: Devin, Julia). 2) Quick review (sentences #1-#17). 3) Teach sentences (#18-#22). 4) Oral modeling. 5) Lesson Five characters review.
2. 1) Quiz #10. 2) Skit time.

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 6P / 7P (11/19/15)

Objectives: 1) I can say / comprehend Chinese greeting terms / classroom expressions. 2) I can write simple Chinese characters. 3) I can understand the requirements for completing a China reading packet.
Homework: 1) Review 13 learned terms & (6P) 3 / (7P) 4 Chinese characters. 2) Complete character writing assignment. 3) Will do the virtual Classroom China Reading packet in class tomorrow.
Procedure:
1. 1) Any signature slip? It is due today. 2) Review 9 learned greeting terms. 3) Teach 4 new greeting terms (Wu An, Wan An, Shang Ke, Xia Ke).
2. 1) Review learned Chinese character (木 / 口). 2) Teach two Chinese characters (6P: 口 & 山; 7P: 山 & 火). 3) 4) Pass out / Go over China reading packet.
