Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (11/10/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can sight read pinyin sentences fluently and accurately. 2) I can ask and answer conversations proficiently. 3) I can review Chinese characters and pinyin phonetic system through singing and chanting.

Homework: 1) Practice reading Review Sounds1 sentences #1-#12. 2) Test #5 (Review Sounds1): Monday, 11/16/15. 3) Read text page 37.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Opening routine. Go over field trip permission slip. 2) Read Review Sounds1 sentences #1-#6. 3) Teach Review Sounds 1 sentences #7-12. 4) Chanting time.
  2. 1) Model conversation questions Q/A. 2) Song time: Happy Birthday song.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 6P / 7P (11/10/15)

 

Objectives: I can create an art project by applying what I have learned in Chinese class.

Homework: 1) Oral presentation starts from tomorrow. Use tomorrow and Thursday as study hall time—bring in your work to do / no locker break. 2) Art project is due on Thursday, 11/12/15.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Check accuracy of your oral presentation order. 2) Work on your art project / other school if you are done with your art project, please.
