Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (11/30/15)

 Objectives: 1) I can review to prepare my chapter test. 2) I can rehearse and present my skit. Homework: 1) Field trip survey: due today. 2) Skit presentation: Tuesday, 12/1/15. 3) Lesson Five oral exam starts from tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Opening routine. Take one netbook. Advise Ms. Chang your plan for skip presentation / pinyin sentence reading. Makeup work (3P: Scott / Suzie; 8P: Hailey). 2) Quick review (4 rounds of questions for oral exam). 3) Go over Lesson Five text passages / Reading comprehension passages / Lesson Five grammar corrections. 4) Go over Lesson Five chapter test study guide.
  2. Pair work: 1) practice your skit, 2) practice oral exam, and 3) check and complete all VC activities (Four Treasures of Study, Reading Comprehension, Grammar Corrections, & Writing Practice, Field Trip Survey).

 

 Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 6P / 7P (11/30/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say / comprehend simple Chinese greeting terms, classroom expressions and picture characters.   2) I can say and write simple Chinese number characters. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese school routine.

Homework: 1) Review 19 terms + 11 characters. 2) Chinese character writing assignment.

Procedure:

  1. 1) (7P) Return papers / claim papers. 7 Red field trip: Thursday, December 3 / 7 Gold field trip: Friday, December 4. Makeup work (6P: Thomas, Gretchen; 7P: Colette, Alaina). 2) Quick review (16 terms + 8 characters). 3) Teach (xie xie, bu xie, bu ke qi). 4) Teach 3 number characters (yi, er, san).
  2. 1) Video clip: Chinese schools. 2) Culture reading: Chinese schools.
