Procedures for 12/3/15

Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (12/3/15)

 

Objectives: 1) (8P) I can name simple Chinese family members. 2) (3P) I can showcase my mastery of Lesson Five materials.

Homework: 1) (8P) Chinese character writing assignment. 2) (3P) Know all six Chinese characters by tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Opening routines. Captains check Lesson Six character definitions. Turn in family picture, please.
  2. (3P) 1) Turn in Lesson Five character worksheet. 2) Lesson Five chapter test. 3) Return skit checklist.
  3. (8P) 1) Return chapter test and character worksheet. 2) Go over common writing mistakes. 3) Teach (爸, 妈, 哥, 弟, 姐, 妹). 4) Introduce MS 3rd annual community service project at County Library at Brecksville Branch on 2/13/15. Showcase pictures from previous years’ project. Brainstorm ideas, please.

 

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 6P / 7P (12/3/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can review for my test.   2) I can write Chinese number characters. 3) I can explore origami.

Homework: 1) Test #1: Monday, 12/7/15. 2) Chinese character writing assignment. 3) Review 20 Chinese characters & Greetings.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (17 characters) + test simulation (greeting terms + classroom expressions). 2) Teach 3 characters (shi, ling, bai). Collect.
  2. 1) Pass out colored papers. 2) Origami time.
