Procedures for 12/17/15

Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (12/17/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of Lesson Six materials. 2) I can generate questions for guest speakers.

Homework: 1) Lesson Seven character definitions is due tomorrow. 2) 2 questions for 2 guest speakers are due by the end of tomorrow (4 points).

Procedure:

  1. 1) Opening routine. Turn in Lesson Six character worksheet. Ask Ms. Chang for updated Summer Bridge Camp information, please. 2) Lesson Six chapter test.
  2. If you are done with test, you can 1) work on Lesson Seven character definitions, 2) generate 2 questions for two guest speakers (Adam Yaseen—studied abroad before, Own Han—exchange student), and 3) click the following links to watch enrichment videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9NkcUKvGxC0

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 6P / 7P (12/17/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can name popular colors.   2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese martial arts, hacky sack, legend of pandas and Chinese zodiac animals. 3) I can have fun playing finger guessing game.

Homework: Review 11 learned colors.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (8 colors). 2) Teach (hui se, cheng se, fen hong se, xi huan).
  2. 1) Video clips: 2 Chinese martial arts + jian zi. 2) (6P) Complete finger guessing game. 3) Culture reading: The legend of panda / zodiac animals. 3) Showcase artifacts (weapons, Chinese yoyo, hacky sack).
