Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (12/14/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of Lesson Six vocabulary. 2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions about family, name and professions. 3) I can prepare for my chapter test.

Homework: 1) Lesson Six oral exam: tomorrow. 2) 3 VC activities (Lesson Six reading comprehension, writing practice about Family Members, writing practice–translation) are in class on Wednesday, 12/16/15. 3) Lesson Six are due in class tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Opening routine. Check ProgressBook for your missing assignment. Take one copy of Lesson Six Grammar Corrections worksheet. Take one netbook, turn in on, activate a browser, and set aside. 2) Go over Lesson Six chapter test study guide. 3) Writing practice.
  2. 1) Oral exam modeling. 2) Seat work: VC activities + Grammar Corrections worksheet + conversation questions practice.

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 6P / 7P (12/14/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese.   2) I can showcase my understanding of Chinese counting principle. 3) I can gain culture knowledge about Chinese lucky and unlucky numbers, and finger guessing game.

Homework: N/A

Procedure:

  1. 1) Return oral presentation draft #1 / Test #2 papers. 2) Quiz #1 + Test #1 retake. 3) Teach (shang, nian ji). 4) Write sentence #6. 5) Read sentences #1-#6
  2. 1) Culture reading: (6P) Lucky & unlucky numbers. 2) 7P: Learn terms for Finger Guessing Game.
