Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (12/7/15)


Objectives: 1) I can talk about my family. 2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions. 3) I can introduce myself and other people.

Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment. 2) read Lesson Six conversation questions handout (#9-#14).


  1. 1) Daily greeting routine. Housekeeping (translator use, VC). 2) Quick review (爸, 姐, 哥, 妈, 弟, 家, 有, 个, 和, 呢). 3) Teach new characters (姓, 叫, 名, 字, 名字, 名人, 大名, 生字, 呢). 4) Go over conversation question sentence patterns.



Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 6P/7P (12/7/15)


Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of greeting terms and classroom expressions. 2) I can understand Chinese counting principle. 3) I can explore and have hands-on experience with origami.

Homework: Test #2 (20 Chinese characters): Friday, 12/11/15.

  1. 1) Return Chinese character writing assignment papers. (6P: Antonio, Sydney, Dominic) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Quick review (unit #1). 2) Test #1. 3) Go over Chinese counting principle. 4) Count from zero to one hundred.
  2. Origami time.
