Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (12/9/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can name common professions. 2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese family size and the way to address family members.

Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment. 2) Practice conversation questions. 3) Textbook pages 52-53 for tomorrow culture reading exit slip questions tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Daily greeting routine. 2) Quick review (爸, 姐, 哥, 妈, 弟, 妹, 家, 有, 个, 和, 没, 姓, 叫, 名, 字, 呢). 3) Conversation Q/A. 4) Teach characters (工, 工人, 医, 医生, 医师, 学生, 士, 护, 护士, 大学, 大学生, 中学, 中学生, 小学, 小学生, 初中, 高中, 初中生, 高中生). 5) (8P) Writing practice.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 6P/7P (12/9/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 2) I can explore origami. 3) (7P) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese lucky/unlucky numbers, and Chinese.
Homework: Practice reading sentences #1-#3.
Procedure:

  1. 1) Teach (jia, you, ge ren). 2) Write sentence #3. Read sentences #1-#3.
  2. Origami time.
