Procedures for 2/3/16

Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (2/3/16)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about my nationality and language skills. 2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions. 3) I can sharpen my listening comprehension skill and gain cultural knowledge about China through viewing an authentic movie.

Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment. 2) Fill out story map and movie questions. 3) Review song lyrics for next week’s in-school field trip. 4) YouTube videos. Procedure:

  1. 1) Opening routine. Take one copy of song lyrics. Ms. Chang takes names for community service project volunteers. Showcase possible origami and craft ideas. Quick review. 2) Conversation questions Q/A. 3) Teach new characters (文, 语, 汉, 说, 哪, 韩). 4) Song time.
  2. Movie time.

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 7P (2/3/16)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say / comprehend Chinese numbers. 2) I can explore origami.  3) I can gain knowledge about Chinese tea culture. 4) I can count from zero to one hundred in Chinese.

Homework: Review Chinese counting principle.

Procedure

  1. 1) Quick review (20 characters). Take one copy of number table. Return 12 number character writing assignment. (Lana, Cassidee, Mario) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Audio file / Video clip (numbers). 3) Go over number table. 4) Count from zero to one hundred. 5) Showcase artifacts: Chinese teas / tea sets.
  2. Origami time. Collect work as participation grade.
