Procedures for 2/10/16

Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (2/10/16)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about my nationality and language skills. 3) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.

Homework: Lesson Eight oral exam: Wednesday, 2/17/16 for gold team / Thursday, 2/18/16 for red team.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Daily greeting routine. 2) Write your team members and turn the list to Ms. Chang by the end of class period (3P: 4 members / team; 8P: 3 members / team). A ten-point grade will be assigned upon completion of cooking lesson (cleanness—stove / counter top / sink + team work). 3) Sign up 2 (teacher / staff) to deliver pot stickers. 4) A mistake in video assignment (school supplies)? 5) Ingredients in pot stickers??? 6) Go over cooking instructions. 7) Special treat—Alex Wong’s dragon dance.
  2. 1) Quick review. 2) Teach new characters (咦, 点, 里, 得). 3) Go over conversation questions handout.
  3. Seat work: Conversation questions practice ó Chang talks to individual students for Saturday’s library event.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 7P (2/10/16)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 2) I can showcase my mastery of understanding Chinese counting principle. 3) I can sample various types of tea.

Homework: N/A
Procedure:

  1. 1) Teach new terms (jia, you, ge ren). 2) Write sentence #3. 3) Practice reading sentences #1-#3.
  2. 1) Quiz #1. 2) Tea time.
