Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (2/1/16)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about my nationality and language skills. 2) I can understand the requirements for my year-end PPT and view an exemplary work.
Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment. 1. 1) Daily greeting routine. Take a copy of Year-End PPT checklist. Captains check Lesson Eight character definitions. Return Lesson Seven chapter test and character worksheet. Talk to Ms. Chang for retake application form, if needed. (3P: Katie, Serena, Alyssa, Camille, Zachary, Scott, Daniel) display your writing? Recruit volunteers for community service project. 2) Quick review Lesson Seven characters. 3) Go over common writing mistakes (宠, 狗, 条, 金, 鸟, 很, 来, 马). 3) Teach new characters (中, 国, 国家, 中国, 中国人, 美, 美人, 美国, 美国人, 英国, 英国人, 德, 德国, 德国人, 美德).
2. 1) Go over PPT checklist. 2) Showcase exemplary work.

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 7P (2/1/16)

Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of Chinese greeting terms and classroom expressions. 2) I can write simple Chinese number characters. 3) I can explore paper-cut . 4) I can gain knowledge about Chinese embroidery and qi pao.
Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment. 2) Test #2: Monday, 2/8/16.
1. 1) Quick review. 2) Test #1. 3) Teach (七, 八, 九).
2. 1) Complete Paper patterns. 2) Video clips: Embroidery / Qi Pao. 3) Showcase artifacts.
