Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (2/23/16)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about my favorite sports in Chinese. 2) I can sharpen my listening comprehension through viewing an authentic movie.
Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment. Know these five characters by Thursday. 2) Fill in your movie unit story map and comprehension questions.
Procedure:
1. 1) Opening routine. Take one copy of Second Semester Speed Character Recognition List. Captains check Lesson Nine character definitions. (Ryan) reports to Ms. Chang a6 6P today, please. 2) Return Lesson Eight chapter test and character worksheet. 2) Go over common writing mistakes (里, 起, 英, 澳, 洲). (Adam, Scott, Camille, Suzie) showcase your writing, if possible. 3) Teach new characters (喜欢, 欢喜, 篮, 球, 篮球, 篮子, 打, 打字, 打人, 打工, 打球, 打气, 气球, 皮球)
2. Movie time.

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 7P (2/23/16)

Objectives: 1) I can create an art project with what I have learned in Chinese class. 2) I can talk about myself in Chinese.
Homework: 1) Practice your oral presentation if you have not done so today. 2) Complete your art project by the end of tomorrow.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return your quiz #2 papers. Take one netbook if you plan to do a PPT art project. Need any handout? 2) Any questions for oral presentation?
2. While Ms. Chang conducts oral presentation  Please 1) work on art project, 2) practice your oral presentation, and 3) use extra time as study hall time by following school policy.
