Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (2/29/16)

Objectives: 1) I can understand the requirements for Lessons 8 and 9 skit. 2) I can talk about my favorite sports in Chinese. 3) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.
Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment. 2) Practice conversation questions.
1. 1) Opening routine. Makeup work (3P: Derrick, Liam, Heesung, Ryan; 8P: Julia) report to Ms. Chang at 6P E/I, please. (3P: Daniel, Mark, Derrick, Scott, Luke) talk to Ms. Chang after class, please. The ones who finished crossword puzzle will a little treat tomorrow. 2) Quick review. Write your opinions about station activities. Turn in at the end of class period. 3) Go over Lessons 8 and 9 skit checklist. 4) Go over conversation questions. 5) Teach (骑, 车, 骑马, 骑车, 动车, 打车 = 叫车, 最, 乒乓球, 桌子, 桌子, 士兵).
2. Seat work: 1) Conversation question practice. 2) Survey time. Collect. 3) Skit brainstorm session.

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 7P (2/29/16)

Objectives: 1) I can understand Ms. Chang’s classroom rules and routine. 2) I can work on a student survey.
Homework: Signature slip due on Friday, 2/4/16.
1. 1) Sit on your assigned seat. 2) Check your team assignment. 3) Go over Ms. Chang’s classroom (handouts/homework/supplies) / opening routine + daily blog.
2. 1) Please take a netbook (same number as your class number), turn it on, and set aside. 2) Pass out / Go over Ms. Chang’s classroom rule. 3) Work on Student Survey.
