Procedures for 3/4/16

Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (3/4/16)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about favorite sports and sports skills in Chinese. 2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions. 3) I can create a skit independently or with a partner. 4) I can sharpen my listening comprehension skill through viewing video clip.

Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment. 2) Watch four YouTube videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qggmXoc-FJ8 / https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YevdYAfIPUk / https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8A4yxKyGXLw / http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qggmXoc-FJ8.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Opening routine. 2) Read textbook pages 77-79. 3) Teach new characters (游, 泳, 跑步, 跑步机, 跑车, 喂). 4) Video clip / listening comprehension.
  2. 1) Conversation practice. 2) Skit time.

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 7P (3/4/16)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say / comprehend simple Chinese greeting terms and classroom expressions. 2) I can read and write simple Chinese characters. 3) I can acquire geographical knowledge about China.

Homework: 1) Review 13 learned terms and 5 Chinese characters. 2) Complete Chinese character writing assignment. 3) China reading packet is due by the end of today.
Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (12 terms + 3 characters). 2) Teach new term (Xie xie). 3) Teach new characters (水, 火).
  2. 1) Video clips: Introduction to China / Beijing / Shanghai. 2) Complete China reading packet. Submit.
