Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (3/7/16)

Objectives: 1) I can ask and answer questions about sports in Chinese. 2) I can sharpen my listening comprehension skill through viewing video clips. 3) I can review to prepare for my chapter test.
Homework: 1) Grammar corrections / scrambled sentences worksheet is due on Wednesday. 2) Chinese character writing assignment. 3) VC (Lesson Nine listening–Vocabulary) is due by the end of today. 4) Lesson Eight chapter test oral exam: Thursday, 3/10 and Friday, 3/11/15. Lesson Eight chapter test: Monday, 3/14/16.
Procedure:
1. 1) Daily greeting routine. Take a copy of worksheet and a netbook. Sports terms handout and Lesson Nine chapter test study guide were e-mailed to you this morning. 2) Quick review. 3) Teach (走, 忙). 4) Conversation modeling (2 pairs). 5) Video clip / listening comprehension.
2. Seat work: 1) Conversation questions practice. 2) Skit session. 3) VC (Lesson Nine Listening–Vocabulary). 4) Grammar corrections / Scrambled Sentences Worksheet.

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 7P (3/7/16)

Objectives: 1) I can say / comprehend basic Chinese greeting terms or classroom expressions. 2) I can write simple Chinese picture characters. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about chopsticks. 4) I can have fun holding chopsticks and picking up Cheerios.
Homework: 1) Review 16 terms + 6 characters. 2) Chinese character writing assignment.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return Spanish project papers. (Aidan. Siena, Ben, Abby) fix mistakes and resubmit your work, please. (Elise, Maxim, Jocelyn, Kinga, Makaela) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Quick review (13 terms + 5 characters). 3) Teach new terms (bu xie, bu ke qi, shang ke, xia ke). 4) Teach (person / people).
2. 1) Video clips: Chopsticks. 2) Chopsticks time.
