Procedures for 3/8/16

Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (3/8/16)

 

Objectives: 1) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions about sports. 2) I can prepare my chapter test through review work.

Homework: 1) Grammar corrections / scrambled sentences worksheet is due tomorrow. 2) 2 VCs (Lesson Nine reading–Vocabulary / Lesson Nine Listening—Sports Preferences) are due by the end of tonight.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Opening routine. Get a netbook, turn it on, and set aside. (Heesung, Siena, Ryan, Luke) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Speed character recognition. 3) Conversation questions modeling (2 pairs).
  2. Seat work: 1) Grammar corrections / scrambled sentences worksheet. 2) 2 VCs. 3) Skit. 4) Conversation questions practice.

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 7P (3/8/16)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say / comprehend basic Chinese greeting terms and classroom expressions. 2) I can read / write simple Chinese picture characters. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese calligraphy. 

Homework: Review 20 terms / 8 characters.

Procedure:

  1. 1) (Michael B., Elise, Rosie, Makayla, Kinga) redo some of the questions for better credit, please. (Max, Makaela, Jocelyn) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Quick review (16 terms + 6 characters). 2) Teach (qi li, jing li, qing zuo, zuo xia). 3) Teach (sun, moon). Collect.
  2. 1) Video clips: Chinese calligraphy / sun / moon / person / wood. 2) Showcase artifacts (four treasure of study). 3) Culture reading: Four Treasures of Study.
