Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (3/9/16)

 

Objectives: I can prepare for my chapter test.

Homework: 1) Lessons 8 & 9 skit is due tomorrow. 2) Lesson Nine oral exam starts from tomorrow.  3) 2VCs (Lesson Nine Listening & Writing; Lesson Nine Reading comprehension) are due tonight.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Opening routine. Take one slip for listening VC activity. Get a netbook and turn it on. Captains check completion of Grammar Corrections / Scrambled Sentences worksheet. (3P: Luke, Mark, Siena, Heesung; 8P: Dylan, Michael) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Conversation questions modeling. 3) Go over worksheet.
  2. Seat work: 1) 2 VCs (Lesson Nine Listening & Writing; Lesson Nine Reading comprehension). 2) Skit.

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 7P (3/9/16)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say / comprehend basic Chinese greeting terms and classroom expressions. 2) I can read and write Chinese number characters. 2) I can explore and gain cultural knowledge about Chinese folk art of paper cut.  

Homework: Review 23 terms + 11 characters.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Return Chinese character writing assignment. Collect China reading packet. (Maria, Sydney) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Quick review (20 terms + 8 characters). 2) Teach new terms (dong le ma, dong le, bu dong). 3) Teach characters (one, two, three).
  2. 1) Video clip: Paper-Cuts. 2) Pass out / go over 1-2 Chinese paper-cut patterns.
