Procedures for 4/4/16

Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (4/4/16)

 

Objectives: 1) I can reflect on my 3rd quarter learning.  2) I can talk about my physical features.  3) I can ask and answer simple conversation qusetions.

Homework: 1) The Survey of Reflection on the 3rd quarter learning is due by the end of tonight.  2) Physical Description paragraph draft is due in class tomorrow.  Turn in your checklist tomorrow.  3) Chinese character writing assignment.  4) Lesson Ten chapter test: Wednesday, 4/13/2016.  5) Celebrity project resumes on Wednesday, 4/6/2016.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Daily greeting routine. Sit on your new seat, please.  Take a netbook, turn it on, activate a browser, and set aside.  (Luke, Suzie) see Ms. Chang at 6P E/I, please.  Anyone is interested in making Chinese lanterns?  2) Speed character recognition.  3) (3P) Quick review of body parts.  4) Teach characters (都, 笑, 哈, 怡).  5) Go over conversation questions.
  2. Seat work: 1) Survey of Reflections. 2) Physical Description Paragraph draft.  3) Conversation questions practice.  4) Review your celebrity project.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 7P (4/4/16)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese.  2) I can gain cultural knowledge about early Chinese inventions.  3) I can understand requirements for my art project. 4) I can brainstorm ideas for my art project through viewing project samples.
Homework: 1) Review counting principle and 10 Chinese number characters.  Quiz #1 (Connecting the Dots): Wednesday, 4/6/16.
Procedure:

  1. 1) Take one copy of art project requirements handout. (Michael B., Rosie, Makaela) talk to Ms. Chang for E/I tomorrow, please.  2) Teach (nian ji).  3) Write sentence #6.  4) Read sentences #1-#6.
  2. 1) Go over Art Project Requirements handout. 2) Showcase exemplary Drawing project samples.  3) Video clips: compass / printing.
