Procedures for 4/21/16

Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (4/21/16)

 

Objectives: 1) I can showcase my proficiency in listening to authentic materials.  2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese food.

Homework: 1) SLO reading activity is due at the end of the class period.  2) Culture reading VC activities are due by the end of Friday, 4/22/16.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Opening routine. Take a netbook, turn it on, and set aside.  (3P: Siena, Suzie; 8P: Dylan, George) talk to Ms. Chang, please.  2) when you are done with SLO VC activity, please ask for a copy of article., “Difference between Chinese and Western Food.”
  2. Seat work: 1) SLO listening activity. 2) Culture reading VC activities.

 

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 7P (4/21/16)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say / comprehend Chinese greeting terms / classroom expressions.  2) I can write simple Chinese characters.  3) I can gain geographic knowledge about China.
Homework: 1) Review 9 learned terms & 3 Chinese characters. 2) Complete character writing assignment. 3) Signature slip is due tomorrow. 4) China reading packet is due by the end of tomorrow.
Procedure:

  1. 1) Take one set of China reading packet. Any signature slip? 2) Review 9 learned greeting terms. 3) Review learned and teach 2 new characters (山 / 木 / 口).
  2. 1) Go over China reading packet. 2) Video clip time: Introduction to China.
