Procedures for 4/22/2016

Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (4/22/16)

 

Objectives: 1) I can name common food items in Chinese.  2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.  3) I can create a skit independently or with a partner.  4) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese food.

Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment.  2) Watch the following YouTube videos (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J609DMrx3wk, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcN7aGIVHsUhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FetZOtCYHg, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2kS5EAaR5Q).  3) 2 culture reading VCs are due at the end of today.  4) Skit script / checklist is due on Friday, 4/29/16.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Opening routine. Sign up for conversation task next week.  Check calendar.  2) Speed character recognition.  3) Teach new characters (果汁, 水果, 果菜汁, 牛奶, 做).  4) Video clip: 吃醋.
  2. Seat work: 1) Skit. 2) Conversation questions practice.  3) VC activities.

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 7P (4/22/16)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say / comprehend simple Chinese greeting terms and classroom expressions. 2) I can acquire geographical knowledge about China.

Homework: 1) Review 14 learned terms and 3 Chinese characters.  2) China reading packet is due by the end of today.
Procedure:

  1. 1) Get a netbook, log on, activate a browser, and set aside. Any signature slip?  2) Quick review (9 terms).  3) Go over questions #14-#16 in China reading packet.  4) Teach new term (Xie xie, Bu Xie, Bu Ke Qi, Wu An, Wan An).
  2. Complete and submit your China reading packet. .
