Procedures for 4/28/16

Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (4/28/16)

 

Objectives: 1) I can create a skit independently or with a partner.  2) I can express my preferences of food and drinks.

Homework: Skit script / check list is due in class tomorrow.  Science Foundation students turn it in before you leave for HS.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Take a copy of Kite-Making project checklist. Opening routine.  (James, Jacob, Luke, Scott, Ryan, Zachary, Heesung) talk to Ms. Chang, please.  Go over tomorrow’s tasks.  2) Quick review. 3) Go over kite-making project checklist.  4) Writing practice (8 problems).
  2. (3P): Teach (鸡, 肉, 鸡肉, 牛肉, 鱼肉, 猪肉, 片, 名片, 蝦, 龙虾, 炸, 炸鸡, 炸鱼片, 炸虾片, 生鱼片).
  3. (8P): 1) Skit time. 2) Conversation questions.  3) Work on your PPT slides (food and drink preferences / chopsticks holding and food cooking skills).  4) Grammar Corrections / Scrambled Sentences worksheet.

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 7P (4/28/16)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say / comprehend Chinese greeting terms and classroom expressions.  2) I can write simple Chinese picture characters.  3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese food.      

Homework: Review 20 terms + 8 characters.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (20 terms + 5 characters). 2) Teach characters (人, 日, 月).
  2. 1) Video clips: noodles / roast duck. 2) Culture reading: Chinese food.  3) Showcase artifacts: cook books.
