Procedures for 5/9/16

Procedure for MS Chinese I 3P / 8P (5/9/16)

 

Objectives: I can prepare for my speed character recognition quiz, chapter test and final exam oral section.

Homework: 1) 4 VCs are due by the end of today.  2) PPT hard copy is due on Friday, 4/20/16.  3) Complete skit presentation by the end of today.  4) Lesson Eleven chapter test: Tuesday, 5/17/16.  5) Speed character recognition starts from Monday, 5/16/16.           

Procedure:

  1. 1) Opening routine. Take one set of handout.  Turn in your Kite-making project checklist (3P: Mark, Dylan, Daniel, Luke; 8P: Devin, Devin W.) and kite.  (James, Luke, Liam, Ryan, Adam) report to Ms. Chang at 6P today.  Chang needs help for Ander Link.  2) Speed character recognition.
  2. 1) Go over Lesson Eleven chapter test study guide. 2) Go over final exam oral exam prompt slip.
  3. 1) Analogy practice. 2) Go over answers.  3) Video clip: 看.

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 7P (5/9/16)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say / write numbers in Chinese.  2) I can gain cultural knowledge about schools and students in China.  3) I can have fun playing Rock, Scissors and paper game in Chinese

Homework: 1) Test #2: Friday, 5/13/16.  2) Quiz #1 (Connecting the Dots): Monday, 5/16/16.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Return test #1 papers. Andrew talks to Ms. Chang, please.  2) Quick review (17 characters).  3) Teach (十, 百, 零).    4) Audio file / rapping video for numbers.
  2. 1) Video clip: A Day at School. 2) Culture reading: Rock, Scissors.  3) Game time.
