Procedures for 8/24/16

Procedure for HS 1P/2P Chinese IV Class (8/24/16)

 

Objectives: 1) I can describe sickness symptoms. 2) I can learn how to develop a story with sequences and details.
Homework: 1) Complete definitions for Lesson Eight character worksheet. 2) Review learned characters & fully comprehend Ni Hao III Lesson Eight text passages on pages 86-87 .
Procedure:
1. 1) Take one set of Lesson Eight character worksheet + Lesson Eight text passages packet + Narration writing scoring guide + Narration sample work. 2) Read Ni Hao One Lessons 6, 7, & 8 text passages.  3) Review characters and passages on pages 86-87.  4) Seat work: read sentence patterns on text page 92 + top of page 93.

2.  Go over narration sample work.

 

Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (8/24/16)

 

Objectives: 1) I can learn how to write my Chinese name.  2) I can understand the requirements for China reading packet #2.
Homework: 1) Review learned terms for Friday.  2) Bring 3 papers (Chinese name sheet + square paper + China reading packet #2) for seat work tomorrow.
Procedure:
1. 1) Take one copy of square paper. Get one netbook (netbook number should match your class number). Log into your e-mail accoun5, please. Set aside, please.

2. 1) Great job (Annette, Leah, Emma + Joe, Frank, Kate, Malina)!! (Tiffany, Reyna, Tina, Aidan, Nick + Victoria, Karli, Kinga) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Common mistakes (mountain peak <=> maintain range; Beijing’s <=> China’s population).

3. 1) Captains check school supplies.  2) Pass out textbook.  Sign your name on inventory sheet.

4.  Pass out / go over your Chinese name sheet. (Kate, Frank, Emma, Carson, Tina, Travis, Annette, Reyna, Julianna, Aidan) talk to Ms. Chang, please. You will turn in your writing on Friday for 12 points.

 

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Chinese Class (8/22/16)

Objectives: 1) I can understand how to answer questions in China reading packet.  2) I can understand how to do paper cutting.
Homework: 1) Review learned terms. 2) Bring in your China reading packet+ 2 paper patterns for tomorrow.
Procedure:
1. 1) Pass out / go over China reading packet. 2)Video clip (Introduction to China)
2. Go over procedures to cut these 2 paper patterns tomorrow. 2) Pair practice: greeting terms.

 

Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (8/22/16)

Objectives: 1) I can start my 5-level project.  2) I can fix my mistakes on pre-assessment.
Homework: Make corrections on 2 pre-assessment worksheets, if not done yet.  Due date is Monday, 8/29 for credit.
Procedure:
1. 1) Cannot bring in your back pack to this class! Return papers. Turn in any fixed worksheet for credit, please.

2. 1) Explain 5-level project.   2) Start your 5-level project.
