Procedures for 9/15/16

Procedure for HS 1P/2P Chinese IV Class (9/15/16)

Objectives: 1) I can celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival. 2) I can prepare for my chapter test.
Homework: Work on writing practice problems + read culture part.
Procedure:
1. 1) Ms. Chang will send you a list of writing problems this afternoon.  (1P: Evy, Rianna, Hanna, Aaron, 2P: Shaan, Paul) make sure you work on them and welcome to e-mail your answers for feedback. The application form for Chinese Club are available outside Mrs. Chen’s classroom.  There is a meeting after school on next Monday.  2) Ms. Chang checks WB pages 89 + 94. Go over answer key.
2. 1) Sample medication direction. 2) Independent work: WB page 93. 3) Pair work: WB page 87. Go over answer key to pages 93 + 87 (#1-#5).
3. Mid-Autumn Festival celebration + Video clip.

 

Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (9/15/16)

Objectives: 1) I can blend and discriminate compound vowels. 2) I can celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Homework: Review (üe) section for activity tomorrow.
Procedure:
1. 1) Ms. Chang sent you MC question list for Lesson One text passages. (Marina) talks to Ms. Chang, please. Quick review (sounding out / solve math equations, sounding out syllables, blending, sounding out telephone numbers). 2) Teach (üe) section.

2. Video clip + Mid-Autumn Festival celebration.

 

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Chinese Class (9/15/16)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese.  2) I can brainstorm ideas for my art project through viewing project samples.  3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival.
Homework: Review sentences #1-#4.
Procedure:
1.  1) (Zachary, Christian) talk to Ms. Chang, please.  2) Teach (baba, mama, gege, didi, jiejie, meimei, he, liang).  3) Write sentence #4.  Read sentences #1-#4.  4) Video clip: Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival.  5) Showcase pictures of signature festival food.
2.  Showcase project samples (2 singing videos).
3.  Sample tea….

Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (9/15/16)

Objectives: I can make a table and graph to justify whether an question is linear or nonlinear equation.
Homework: 1) Worksheet M is due at the end of class period. 2) Study guide…3) i-Ready is due on midnight of Sunday, 9/18/16. Log in 45 minutes for 10 points. 4) POW#3 has been posted onto Google Classroom. It is due on 9/23/16. 5) Unit 2 quiz: next Monday??
Procedure:
1. 1) Return all papers. Check PB for your grade accuracy, please. (Vanja, Grant, TJ, Kate, Jessy, ) talk to Ms. Chang, please. You need to turn in your work for MathXL / Pow#2.5 for full credit, please (6 already completed last night!!). 2) Seat work: Complete practice worksheet M + Study Guide.
