Procedures for 9/28/16

Procedure for HS 1P/2P Chinese IV Class (9/28/16)

Objectives: 1) I can rearrange jumbled sentences. 2) I can create a spontaneous conversation dialogue.
Homework: Complete your dialogue and be ready to present in 2 days.
1. 1) Sign up on the list the recipient of your text message of inviting him/her for your birthday party / sleep over / beach party….. Cannot work with a classmate who sends/receives from each other.  2) Quick review of weather terms. 3) Ms. Chang checks your WB pages 95-96. Go over answer key.

2.   pair activity: create a dialogue based on your skit card. Google Docs share with Ms. Chang by the end of tomorrow.


Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (9/26/16)

Objectives: 1) I can blend and discriminate compound vowels. 2) I can prepare for Lesson Three chapter test.
Homework: 1) Finalize your paragraph about Mid-Autumn Festival. 2) Review (y, w) sections.
1. 1) (Elizabeth) talks to Ms. Chang, please. Clarify H/W from yesterday. 2) Quick review (blending). 3) Read text page 22.
2. 1) Teach (y, w) sections. 2) Seat work: write your paragraph about Mid-Autumn Festival. Welcome to Google Docs share with Ms. Chang your writing.


Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Chinese Class (9/28/16)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 2) I can create an art project by applying what I have learned in class.
Homework: Art project is due tomorrow.
1. 1) Oral presentation <=> Work on your art project + mind bender enrichment activity.


Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (9/13/16)

Objectives: I can make a table and graph to justify whether an relation is a function or not a function.
Homework: 1) POW #4 is due on this Friday. 2) Will start working on study guide tomorrow. 3) Unit #3 quiz: Friday, 9/30/16.
1. 1) Return all papers. Turn in your paper work for MathXL. An announcement from Mrs. Mollica. 2) (Jimmy, Hudson, Jake, Jesse,
Lily, Ian) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 3)  Clarify a few points from H/W worksheet N & M.
*** WS #N (#2): you need to express the relation as a table and as a map.
*** Express an ordered pair with parentheses, please. => (x, y)
** Express domain and range for ordered pairs with braces, please => {3, 5,…}
** Express domain and range for graphs (enclosed, or open) with notations such as #1 ≤ x ≤ #2, #3 ≤ y ≤ #4.

** Some students still have trouble working with exponent with negative base.  Please ask for help.  With correct evaluation of the equation, your graph will be incorrect.

2. Pair work: Unit #3 Team Challenge questions (Google Classroom) + Writing equations #3-#6.
