Procedure for HS 1P/2P Chinese IV Class (9/12/16)

Objectives: 1) I can describe recovery progress and show concern for others. 2) I can present my summer break activities project.
Homework: 1) Read text pages 93-94. 2) Complete reading Ni Hao I text + tongue twister tasks on Tuesday, 9/20/21.
1. 1) Take one copy of Lesson Eight chapter test study guide. Ms. Chang checks your WB page 82. Go over answer key.  Return project papers.  Allow one week to redo your work.  2) Please confirm that (1P: Evy, Rianna, Aaron, Grace, Michael, Patrick, Jenna; 2P: Shaan, Paul) you will be gone from 9/19-9/20 or 9/20-9/21. 3) A fun martial arts video clip.

2. 1) (1P) Presentation (Joanna, Evy, Maddy, Natalia) + Speaking task #2. 2) (2P) Speaking task #2.
3. Go over Study Guide.


Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (9/12/16)

Objectives: 1) I can prepare for my quiz. 2) I can blend and discriminate compound vowels. 3) I can solve math equations in Chinese.
Homework: 1) Quiz #1(dictation, translation): tomorrow. 2) Culture test (2 China packets, Mid-Autumn Festival WS, Lesson 1 text): Monday, 9/19/16. 3) Know three characters by Wednesday, 9/14/16.
1. 1) (Elizabeth, Carson, Casey, Jakub, Marina) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Quick review (dictation, translation, blending).
2. 1) Sound out compound vowels handout (ai, ao, ei, ou). 2) Teach (ia, ie) sections. 3) Teach (加, 等).


Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Chinese Class (9/12/16)

Objectives: 1) I can prepare for my test. 2) I can understand Chinese counting principle and count from zero to one hundred in Chinese. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese tea.
Homework: 1) Quiz #1 (Connecting the Dots): Monday, 9/19/16. 2) 12 number character writing assignment is due tomorrow.
1. 1) Pre-test. 2) Quick review (20 characters). 3) Go over Chinese counting principle. 4) Count from zero to one hundred.
2. 1) Video: Chinese tea. 2) Showcase artifacts (tea sets).


Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (9/12/16)

Objectives: 1) I can tell the difference between linear and nonlinear equations. 2) I can graph a line on coordinate plane.
Homework: 1) i-Ready is due today. 2) MathXL is not due until Wednesday, 9/14/16. 3) Unit #2 quiz (Linear vs. Nonlinear): Friday, 9/16/16?
1. 1) Return all papers. (Jacob, Bobby, Ian, Connor), please turn in POW #2. (2) Go over note (vocabulary).

2. Seat work: 1) Linear v Nonlinear Practice #1. 2) i-Ready / Math XL.
