Procedures for 9/30/16

Procedure for HS 1P/2P Chinese IV Class (9/30/16)

Objectives: 1) I can make weather forecast. 2) I can create a conversation dialogue. 3) I can send text messages to initiate and respond to invitation. 4) I can gain cultural knowledge through viewing a movie.
Homework: 1) Complete conversation dialogue by Tuesday. 2) Complete weather report / poem by Monday. 3) Review page 102.
Procedure:
1. 1) (1P) Complete teaching page 102. 2) While Ms. Chang conducts performance tasks <=> a) Complete your dialogue and Send / Respond to a text message. b) Conversation dialogue presentation.
2. Movie time.

 

Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (9/30/16)

Objectives: 1) I can review for Lesson Three chapter test. 2) I can blend and discriminate compound vowels.

Homework: 1) Review for Lesson Three chapter test. 2) Turn in your character writing assignment next Monday. 3) Review Compound Vowels #2.
Procedure:
1. 1) Take one netbook. (Frank, Elizabeth) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Quick review (writing, blending, speaking).
2. Kahoot game.

 

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Chinese Class (9/30/16)

Objectives: 1) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese signature food through viewing video clips. 2) I can play a game with Mandarin Chinese.
Homework: Rotate to German on next Monday (room 116)
Procedure:
1. 1) Show pictures from art project. Interested in presenting? 2) Video clips: Chinese signature food (roast duck, dumplings, noodle, hot pot). 3) Teach (up, down, left, right, forward). 4) Play Pin the Tail on the Donkey game in Chinese.
2. 1) Final review (greeting terms, numbers, family member, colors).

 

 

Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (9/13/16)

Objectives: I can make a table and/or graph to justify whether an equation or a graph is linear, nonlinear, function or nonfunction.
Homework: 1) POW #5 (Google Classroom) is due on next Friday. 2) i-Ready is due on Sunday night. 3) Standards quiz on Tuesday. 4 ) MathXL (Unit #4 Constant Rate of Change) is due on 10/12/16.
Procedure:
1. 1) Turn in your POW #4, if you have not. Review notations used for ordered pairs, domain and range. Highlight key questions on test papers. 2) Unit #3 quiz <=> Ms. Chang returns all papers.
2. If you are done, work on i-Ready.
