Procedures for 10/4/16

Procedure for HS 1P/2P Chinese IV Class (10/4/16)

Objectives: 1) I can send / respond to text messages for invitation. 2) I can create/present a conversation dialogue.
Homework: 1) WB page 99. 2) Singing songs starts from tomorrow. Will introduce summative assessment of interpersonal conversation tomorrow.
1. 1) Ms. Chang checks WB page 98. Go over answer key. All incomplete work need to be done before or after class. 2) Go over study guide. 3) Complete conversation dialogue presentation.

2. 1) While Ms. Chang checks your text message records <=> work on WB assignment + practice reading Lesson Nine text passages + sending / responding text message.


Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (10/4/16)

Objectives: 1) I can use pronouns to address people.  2) I can prepare for Compound Vowels #2 quiz.
Homework: 1) Know three characters by Thursday. 2) Compound Vowels #2 quiz: Thursday.
1. 1) Take one copy of Front Nasal Sounds handout. (Joe, Jerry, Frank, Tina) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Turn in your Lesson Three character worksheet if you did not turn in yesterday.  Take one netbook if you are interested in watching video clips. 2) Pre-test.
2. 1) Teach (我, 你, 是). 2) Sound out syllables.  3) While Ms. Chang conducts oral part (flash card reading) <=> Watch video clips (songs or story).


Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Chinese Class (9/26/16)

Objectives: 1) I can understand Ms. Chang’s grading policy. 2) I can complete a student inventory. 3) I can say simple Chinese greeting terms.
Homework: Review learned greeting terms.
1. 1) Any signature slip? 2) Go over Ms. Chang’s grading policy. 3) Log in PB VC activity and complete student inventory as a class.
2. 1) Quick review (Ni Hao, Lao Shi). (2) Teach (Ni Shi).


Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (10/4/16)

Objectives: I can showcase my mastery of state standards (functions and linear equations). 2) I can understand requirements for my picture transformation project.
Homework: Bring in your image tomorrow.
1. 1) Turn in your Order of Operators puzzle activity, please. Return all papers. (Ian) talks to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Log in i-Ready. Quiz.
