Procedures for 10/11/16

Procedure for HS 1P/2P Chinese IV Class (10/11/16)

Objectives: I can showcase my mastery of Lessons Nine and Ten materials.
Homework: Draft your oral exam script.
Procedure:
1. 1) Turn in your Lesson Nine character worksheet. 2) Take out your ear buds.
2. Lessons Nine and Ten chapter test. Audio file “Lessons Nine and Ten Listening Comprehension” in attached in Resources link in PB.

 

Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (10/11/16)

Objectives: 1) I can blend and discriminate front nasal sounds. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese names, Chinese schools and Chinese characters.
Homework: 1) Review (ian, uan) sections. 2) Know all 12 characters for class activity tomorrow.
Procedure:
1. 1) (Julianna, Nick, Treyven, Frank) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Quick review (sounding out). 3) Teach (ian, uan) sections.
2. 1) Read text page 15. 2) Culture reading w/comprehension questions: A Day at School / Chinese Names. Go over answer key. 3) Video clips (story of characters).

 

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Chinese Class (10/11/16)

Objectives: 1) I can say simple greeting terms. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese school and students. 3) I can write simple Chinese characters.
Homework: 1) Review 20 learned terms. 2) Complete writing 1 row of character.
Procedure:
1. 1) Take one copy of square paper. Collect your China reading packet, please. 2) Quick review. 3) Teach (qi li, jing li, zuo xia, qing zuo). 4) Video clip: Chinese school. 5) Culture reading: Chinese schools.

2. 1) Go over square paper. 2) Teach (木).

 

Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (10/11/16)

Objectives: I can use constant rate of change to interpret data in real-life situation.
Homework: 1) MathXL work is due in class tomorrow. 2) POW #6 is due on this Thursday.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return all papers. (Jake, Jimmy, Hudson, Jesse) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Turn in your worksheet #2 if you did not do so yesterday. 2) Seat work: Use this time to complete i-Ready / Math XL / POW #6.

3) For those who finish everything, please take a look at worksheet #3 or do other homework.
