Procedure for MS 5P Chinese I Class (10/19/16)

Objectives: 1) I can blend and discriminate back nasal sounds. 2) I can read text passages fluently and accurately.
Homework: 1) 2 VC activities (Listening Comprehension + Greeting terms). 2) Review (uang, iang) sections.
Procedure:
1. 1) (Frank, Nick, Karli, Treyven) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Quick review (blending, sentences). 3) Teach (uang, iang) sections.

2. 1) Read Lesson Two text passages + Something to Know.

 

Procedure for MS 7P Exploratory Chinese Class (10/19/16)

Objectives: 1) I can write simple Chinese picture characters. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Shao Lin Temple and how Chinese characters evolve. 3) I can have fun exploring origami.
Homework: Review learned 8 picture characters.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return papers. (Melissa) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 3) Collect culture reading article? 4) Quick review (6 characters). 5) Teach (日, 月). Collect! 6) Video clips (animation + Shao Lin Temple).
2. Pass out colored papers. Hands-on activity: folding pin wheel.

 

Procedure for MS 8P Pre-Algebra Class (10/19/16)

Objectives: I can interpret and analyze data.
Homework: 1) Turn in worksheet #M by the end of class period. 2) i-Ready is due on Sunday, 10/23/16. 3) POW#7 is due on Friday, 10/28/16. 4) Unit #4 quiz: Monday, 10/24/16.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return papers. (Sofia, Jimmy) talk to Ms. Chang, please. POW #7 has been posted in Google Classroom.   Grade for Mastery quiz has been posted in PB. 2) Explain misconception from worksheet #N.  3) Seat work: Complete practice worksheet #M.

2. If you are done with W/S M, try study guide. No need to turn in work for study guide.
